  • Hi all. Planned my week and today is a good day to have my first fast but now my son is unwell & off school!! Typical. I’m still going ahead with my fast though, these things are always going to happen.

Saw this last night, but haven’t found any reference to it on this site. Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

    Hello SpecailK72,
My friend told me about this the other day, which is why I’m here looking to see if it’s true. Having read the article from your link, it does say “some people may…” do as well with 800 cals. Guess the only way to tell is to give it a go. Haven’t found anything on this site to suggest it’s official.

I lost on 5:2 after Breast Cancer treatment in 2010/11, but switched to Slimming World a couple of years ago to support a friend with heart problems. In total I’ve lost just over 5 st.

Since I was switched from Leterozole to Tamoxifen last September, it is a constant battle to just stop from gaining. It seems to have changed my appetite for the worse, so going to give this a go again. Thinking of starting with 5:2 and moving up to 4:3, with the 2/3 at 600-800, with the NFDs still along SW principles.
