  • Good morning everyone. I would like to say hi, and I’m back on 5:2 after six years.

I can’t believe that much time has passed. Of course I am doing the revised 800 calorie days, not 500. After a while, 500 calories was just too hard for me, and I truly believe that is why I stopped. I figured out what I can have for 800 calories, I believe that extra 300 calories makes all the difference.

In all honesty, I just bought the two Two Day Diet books by Michelle Harvie, who always recommended around 800 calorie days anyway. While I do believe she never got enough credit for her work, I am a HUGE fan of Dr. Mosley, and when his paperback version of Fast 800 is released here in the States in a few months, that book is mine!

So glad to be back on track!

    Welcome back Caffeinebrain.
Hooray for Fast800, it seems many people are like you and find the 500 calorie limit too hard. Hooray for easy and sustainable so you can just keep on.

    All power to you.

Thank you for your kind comments Cinque. It’s great to be back on track!

    good forum
