Hi everyone. Live in Lincolnshire, UK and I only started the 5:2 diet last week.
In January 2013 I weighed 19st 4lbs and decided enough was enough. At 63 I had to finally sort myself out before I got too old to care!
So I joined an online club which is part of an allotment forum I belong to. In the past year, I have lost nearly 5stone, and at Christmas, for the first time, I didn’t put on any weight, but we still had a few little treats.
I lost well the first 2 weeks of this year, then put on a pound, so when a couple of people on the forum mentioned they were doing the 5:2, I thought I’d try it to see if I could do it and give my weight loss a boost!
Don’t know if it works that quickly, but my restrictive days are Tuesday and Thursday, and when I weighed in on Friday I’d lost 4lb 4 ozs!
