After a quick browse of the forums this morning I’ve decided to plunge in!
About me: I’m 48, working mum-of-one and still trying to lose the weight I put on in pregnancy even though my daughter is now 10 years old hehe
I’ve heard about the 5:2 plan for a while now. A few of my work colleagues have been very successful in losing weight with it. I did give it a half-arsed try for a couple of weeks but I had an awful time with binging inbetween FD’s, and so put the idea on the back burner.
And now summer is back. Eeeek. Which is (sadly) giving me the dreads about swimming, beaching and holidaying. Enough is enough, I think.
I’ve seen how successful 5:2 is, I really like the encouragement I see on this forum, and I love the idea of a simple plan.
I’m in. 🙂
