I was very fit until I turned 24. Before that my waist was 28/29”, BMI was in between 20-22. I was very active when I was in university.
But since I started working I started gaining weight. I have become completely sedentary, developed bad habits, lost motivation to stay fit.
Now I am 39 years old and 96 kilo in weight with BMI 33. My aim is to lose 20 kilo in next 12 months. (That means lose 3 ½ lb in every month). Hopefully I would be able to do that. I have strong family H/O of hypertension and Diabetes. Although my latest blood results indicated my lipid profile and Hb1AC was still good.
Never committed to any diet programme except I used WW 6 years ago and lost 14 kilo weight but then gained it within 6 months.
I think I have two main problems
First one is if I get bored, stress or anxious I eat. Not chocolate or cake or biscuit it would be chicken and chips or burgers.
Second problem is during my work hours I don’t eat regular lunch but I will eat all sorts of junk food in my car in between home visits. Then when I come home I will have a large meal at 6pm. Sometimes I will be too hungry too tired to cook, I will order a take out. I will then have another meal at 10/11 pm.
I found that when I am not working I will still eat probably more than I should but I will eat healthy meal with lots of greens as I will cook and prepare the meal by myself.
Well, here I go!!! Support me. Need to lose weight. I am now very unfit, can’t walk for more than 10 minutes, not happy with my health and fitness.
