I’ve just signed up to this after a disastrous weekend away. The weekend was great fun but I came home depressed with my poor fitness, old body and various aches and pains.
I’ve read the entire Fast Diet book today and have planned my first Fast Day tomorrow. I am determined to get my body into shape, improve my energy levels and live longer.
I’ve been vegetarian for over 30 years (I’m in my late 50s) although now eat some fish and meat (but still never cook it). I love carbs and dairy products.
I became veggie after doing the F Plan diet years and years ago – I thought it was fibre that made you feel full so am surprised to now read that it is protein I need. However I can also understand that (I think an egg will be much more satisfying than a plate of carrots) although it is confusing at the same time.
I am weighing and measuring myself in the morning and will record my progress. Hoping my husband will join me as he witnesses my progress.
