  • Hello, I’m David, 40 years old, for the last 10 years I took 1kg/year.(I have a good fork!) My weight was 10kg more than 10 years earlier (from 77 to 87 kg)(1m83). The doctor advised me to control my weight and loss some kilos. Shorly after that I sow the report on the 5/2 intermittent fasting. I decided to give it a go and choose a starting date and 2 fast-days (monday and thursday). On a fast-day, I eat only a good breakfast (calories counted) and then 24 hours nothing but water and black coffee. The first 3 months were not easy, but I lost 6 kg, then it took another 9 months to loose 6 kg again. I lost 2 sizes and had to change my hole wardrobe. Now, my weight is stable and is 75kg but still do the 5/2 fast diet because of the other benefits that you can read in the book. It became a way of life…

Congratulations David! It is great to read your success. I have only been doing the 5:2 for a couple of months, but it is already making a difference to my wardrobe. I am hoping to be like you and keep it as a way of life. Cheers.
