5/2 and wight loss

    You are correct–there is a phase in of some carbs but basically dense carbs like bread, pasta, rice, banananas, etc…are pretty much shunned forever on Atkins:) I know MANY SKINNY women who live like this. They truly almost never eat dense carbs and only stick to proteins and vegetables. Personally, I can’t live that way! I actually would be queen of an ALL CARB DIET! 🙂

    I tried Atkins too – 5:2 is so much easier for me as well. I like my carbs (a little too much!).
    After some reflection I have come to the conclusion that 5:2 is much easier when I am in my normal routine. The kids were home all last week due to weather and I did not fast once. I must find a way to resolve this before summer break!!!

    Any suggestions?
