Hello. I just joined this forum. I started the FastDiet 2 weeks ago. Was working “at home” (from a library) and happened across the book on display. Read some and since the next day was Thursday, I started the diet. My wife joined me on the next fast day.
Can’t say I’m thrilled yet with fasting. I find that by my fasting (~300 Kcal) dinner, I’m dreaming of what a huge and awesome breakfast I will be eating. I find I get very sleepy in the afternoon when fasting, but yesterday (my 4th fast day) was much better. In fact, I found that it got me to figuring out that if we fast from dinner on one evening until breakfast 2 days later, it’s a 30+ hour fast, not a 24-hr fast…which got me to thinking about shortening the fast to an actual 24 hours. But I do really like that I’m losing weight at my current pace, so hesitate to shorten the fast.
