Hallo everyone, don’t usually do forums but now I’m excited to share the experience – I’m Lill, 51&1/2yrs! Inspired by my cool parents who are in their 70’s and never carried weight like I do – I have 3 great lads 12,13 & 18 an amazing fiancĂ©e who lost over a stone last year with s.w. – I would like to be a good role model to my family, be healthy and extend my life – I gave up smoking for last year (2nd time – that was tough) now I seriously need to lose weight! My ideal weight target is 180lbs I think seems a long way off – lost 5lbs last week! Really excited. Oh, I run 1 mile a day from Cornwall to England!
So, 2nd lot of measurements tomorrow, a few beers with friends tonight (bottles!) a little worried there will be no progress this week…do feel lighter – better mood – jeans fit a little better – suffered head aches Thurs and couldn’t shake them off until today, did go for 18hr food fast (2nd fast day this week, 4th fast day in last two…)
I bought the recipe and cook book from Amazon this week and can’t wait to try recipes next week – want to take in all the info I can…
Thanks for all of everything to do with this brilliant concept – many years ago I did try ‘FIt For Life.’ 5:2 Fast Diet seems so much easier and better already…saw the programme last year and read the book – makes good sense…
