Right now I am sitting at 218 pounds, and that just isn’t sitting well with me. Part of the reason for that is the fact that I got myself down to 195lbs from 258lbs and was glad to be under 200lbs for the first time in well over 10 years. But the calorie restrictions every day were tough, and to be honest, I just let some things go. So I am giving this a shot. I like the idea of only restricting calories 2 days of the week and since I have been going to the gym 4 days a week for the past couple weeks, and intend to continue doing so, it should fit right in.
I am happy to say I just finished my first fast day. I went over the recommended calories but thought since my tdee is 2604 and 25% of that is 651, I would plan to eat 750 calories over the day – just to give myself a bit of a buffer. It was difficult off and on but I did it while I was working, so being busy at a desk out of the way of food helped. I had scrambled eggs and veggies for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and chicken and green beans for dinner, with a yogurt thrown in for good measure. But I didnt end up eating the yogurt so I ended up with 674 calories. I weighed and entered everything on myfitnesspal so, so far so good.
Tomorrow is not a fast day, so just got to make sure I get to the gym. Looking forward to seeing how this works out tomorrow and for the rest of the week 🙂
