One Week In

  • Hi, My Name is Graham and I am 1 week in to my 5:2 diet.
    I have never been on a diet before and am starting from 178 cm and 84.8 KG.
    After 1 week I have lost 1KG (its a start)
    On Fast days I eat the following.
    Breakfast – coffee – 20cal
    1/4 spoon sugar in first coffee of the day – 4 calories
    Lots of water to drink between meals (water drinking is new for me)
    Lunch – Coffee – 20 Cal
    Lots more water.
    4pm 1/2 an orange – 31 cal
    1 cup of coffee 20 calories
    Dinner 3 pieces of microwaved king george whiting – 210 grams
    (cooked with 10 calories of teriaki sauce drizzled on top)
    salad with vinegar lemon and oil dressing – 105 calories.
    After Dinner Treats:-
    1 glass of fine rum with lemon & lime – 90 calories
    10 stuffed olives – 50 calories.
    I can add 40 calories worth of carrot straws or extra olives if I need extra nibbles.

    This seems to work well for me and fits with the times that I feel the need to nibble.
    So far so good. I just need to keep it up.
