Well folks today is the day. I’ve braved the scales for the first time in a long long time and worked out my bmi which is 32.61 (i’m looking forward to bringing it down).
I’ve also started a weight diary to track my progress complete with the body fat percentage my scales gives out (starting at 37.9%).
In addition i’ve downloaded the myfitnesspal app so i can track how much i’m eating and make sure that on a fast day (like today) i’m properly fasting (the barcode scanner on it is great!).
Its really helped to have the figures laid out in front of me and even to publish them online as hiding away from it for too long hasn’t been helpful. I’m really looking forward to sharing my journey with you all.
