First regular day today, 1st fast tomorrow!

  • Well y’all, here I go! I’m so nervous…
    I’ve been making a concerted effort the past few days to get the right type of calories in me prior to starting for real today. Tried to cut out as much processed crap as possible and I’m ready to give this a go.
    I’m a personal trainer, and really quite busy through the week, but Tuesday is the only day I don’t have clients (just work full time in a gym) so I chose that day as I’m not as physically active. The ONLY thing I’m worried about on my fast days is how active I am with clients over the course of about 10 hours. The only other day I don’t have clients is a Sunday šŸ™

    I’m really doing this for the health benefits, but losing weight would make me happy too! (I do have about 20lbs to shift)

    Anyone else have very active jobs and have run into this before?

    Hi drkensdeb,
    Although I dont have an active job like you, I do go to my gym sessions on my fast days and have found that you can excercise on this diet without feeling faint. The health benefits are numerous and with your active lifestyle those 20lbs will soon fall off.

    I hope the first fasting day went all well for you. I started two month ago and lost almost 10 kilos…thatĀ“s so amazing. I almost never eat sweets anymore, I just donĀ“t long for them.I had all business-dinners and birthday- parties and wine in the evenings (not during fasting days) an I still lost weight. I feel alive and and awaken. I really enjoy the fasting days now. To me its a great relief, that I found an effective diet that gives you no excuse to quit: every day you get a new chance. If monday didnĀ“t work: try Tuesday. If you donĀ“t feel well, because you are ill, or sad or stressed: try it again next week. I found my rythm and I hope you are gonna find yours.

    Hi all! First fast day went well, the 2nd one last week I know I timed it wrong between 1st small snack and supper time. Live and learn! I lost 4.5 lbs last week and felt amazing all week. Kinda over did it at the weekend but totally back on track this week and today is a fast day, feeling awesome. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
