Hi all!
My dearest friend has been doing the 5:2 for months now and she looks (and feels) amazing. I’ve been thinking about doing it too, and after seeing videos of my backside (and the rest of me, but I only saw the rear) playing with the niece and nephew yesterday, I’ve decided to bite the bullet.
I’ve just had my first day of limiting my calories. I’ve had 540 calories plus a small bowl of home-made vegetable soup that I have no idea of the calorific content, but it wasn’t much. Mainly celery, courgette, half a carrot, onion, green beans. Only the carrot had much in the way of GI.
How did I feel? Well hungry and a bit spacy through the day, but after my main meal in the evening, I felt fine. I think I can do this…
Should I have my protein in the evenings or at lunchtime?
