I’ve been trying on the fasting occasionally over the past year but haven’t gotten beyond the first week; I found no weight loss so stupidly would change to a different method, i.e. calorie counting then swap to upping the exercise. What has happened is, I’ve put on some weight, not too much as I’m active all the time but enough to start to notice it. I’m happy being comfortable which can be anything from my so called ideal weight to a stone overweight. It’s when I start to notice it, i.e. clothes too tight, huge increase in appetite which leads to me craving and eating the bad (1100 calories on a KFC burger recently, food I don’t normally eat). So, I’m going to stick to it now, no matter what, for three months. I’m going to start the first two weeks with 4:3 although if it’s too difficult, back to 5:2. So glad I found this place to help.
