  • Hi there Fast Diet community. I am a new member and wanted to know if there is anyone out there who loves their wine and champagne. I consume at the minimum 500 calories a day from the consumption of wine/champagne. How does this work into this diet? I know it’s a stupid question, but there may be great ideas out there for curbing my love of wine.

    Wine lover here also! I am in my second week, and all I have done was cut back on the amount of consumption on my FD days. I already see improvement. So that gives me all I need to keep up my routine! Good luck!

    LGF welcome to this forum. I love wine, (and alchohol). Basically kiss it good bye on your “Fast Days”. I print this reply fully “loaded” with alcohol prior to a fast day. There are no “soft, Helpful, suportif” comments to your enquiry. Simply, “Pack it in”. Work out what works for you on your fast days. If your diet restricts you to 500 cals then if you want alcohol on your fast day, drink 500 cals of alcohol and do not ingest any thing else. No solid, natural food in any form. Basically on two days a week eat 500 cals of natural food and kiss alcohol good by if you want this to work.
    Sorry about my “alcohol” laden comments but if you like a drink every day then work it into your two day diet of 500 cals. Otherwise just ditch it and rely on natural food.
