  • Hi everyone,

I’m new to the forum, but I have read both books the fast diet and Fast Exercise. I have now decided to embark upon this journey. Anyone words of advice?

    Hi Fadarod
Great that you have decided to so it.
No real advice, if you have read the books and looked at the various posts just get on with it.
See how you go, and if you have any problems lots of us are here for advice and support.
But you have to start first!
    Happy fasting

    Welcome to the forum!

As you have read the book you should know most of it. Just start and see how it goes! Over time you might adapt the one or the other thing.

Patience is a virtue! You need to be aware that weight-loss might not be steady and you might hit plateaus from time to time. When this happens you might want to shake things up a bit by perhaps doing 4:3 for a week or so, or ADF, or change your work outs or your dietary plan.

I have continuously adapted the 5:2 diet to my person needs and I have lost over 8kg in the last 5 months, of which 6kg in the first 12 weeks.

Best of luck and keep us posted!
    Stef.

    Hi and welcome:

Here are some tips that might help: http://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/topic/warnings-to-newbies/

    Good Luck!

I am super excited to be starting my 5:2 tomorrow. I have been eating healthy since last fall but I am hoping this will help kick start things up for me so I can drop some more weight. I bought the Fast Exercise Book the other day because I thought it would be something I will actually do. I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis in many of my joints so long workouts are out for me. I look forward to looking and feeling better:)

Me also new here and join this community 2 . Hope to spend good time here. !
