Hi Miss Watermelon,
I think this depends on several factors. Someone doing the sort of fasting where you don’t eat anything at all, will be able to give you some idea in that situation.
I am very sensitive to sweet things so eating anything sweet on a fast day would mean I’d stay ravenously hungry for the rest of the day.
Cutting calories didn’t stop me from feeling hungry, but cutting sugar out of my diet did. At that time it took two days for me to stop feeling hungry (even though I was eating normally). Years later I know that eating something sweet, or even too much white bread, pastry or pasta, will still set off the intolerable munchies.
