  • Started the fast diet 3 weeks ago, lost 2 pounds the first week stayed the same the second week and lost 1 pound at my weight in today, was on the slimming world diet before and used to loose about 7-8 pounds in my first 3 weeks, I have read the book and find the fast days quite easy, what I would like to know is do you have to stay to your recommended TDEE when your are on your non fast days? I have stayed on the slimming world diet on my non fast days so my calorie intake on my fasting days is 600, and on my non fasting days is about 1500-1700, I feel I should be losing more pounds can anyone help?

    this isnt a speedy diet–if you read a range of posts here you will see that 1-2 lbs per week is healthy and normal with a few ups and downs thrown in. Your question has been well and truly answered in the postings–look up the faq–have you read the book ?

    so slimming world didnt actually work ?
