Hello, I am a 56 yr old in the US and started using this method last month. I am down 20 lbs in the first month after my physician referred this latest diet to me. I have tried a bunch of them but was never able to sustain because I always felt I was starving myself. This is quite sustainable for me. I enjoy celery sticks and broth for lunch and a very generous green salad for dinner on my fasting days. I try to change it up by adding small amounts of cheese, tuna or other proteins to make it interesting, different and attempt to balance my intake.
I haven’t really given anything up the rest of the time but by logging all of the food and drink I consume I am finding it much easier to regulate my caloric intake and still am not hungry all of the time. I am at 40% of my target and looking forward to continuing with this life style as it works well for me. It has been very supportive to read all of the other strings in this site as it clearly identifies this is whatever you are willing to make it but it WORKS!
