  • Hi all, just starting, aim to lose the baby weight (I have an 11 year old and a 7 year old!) Wish me luck 🙂

    Welcome to Fasting, Jane! My husband and I have been doing this for 5 years with good results. If you have any questions, just ask.

    some tips: >plan what you are going to eat and shop in advance
    >hide any foods that are low in nutritional value
    >eat lots of wholesome food: vegetables, fruit
    >protein-rich meals [eggs for breakfast, lean meat or Omega-3 fish for dinner] keep you feeling full
    >keep busy on Fast Days
    >keep thinking about your goal

    I’m just starting out too!! My kids are 18 and 20 so you’re doing better than me ;o)

    Brand new to IF, just made it through my first day!! Broth is ok right? It seems to sooth the tummy ache better than just water.

    Broth is fine, Missy. Are you Water Fasting or eating your 500-600 calories?
