In a rut!

  • I have been doing the 5:2 for about 6 weeks, and actually switched to 4:3 after the 4th week. I was feeling so great, and really seeing progress (a loss of 6 pounds). Then, uh oh, my husband and I went away for a weekend. I am having trouble getting started and motivated again. I have about 20-25 pounds to lose, and really want to get back on track. Anyone else been through this?

    Hi Rnrgrl, you can do it!
    Be kind to yourself. maybe start off with 5:2 again because it is easier and more sustainable. Remember you want this to be a long term thing! Then if you want to try 4:3 again, you can, but go back to 5:2 if you feel your motivation draining again.

    Do everything you can to make it easy and sustainable!
