Feel like I'm starting again!

  • Hi all. Had a really good four weeks doing 5:2, lost 9lbs and massively cut alcohol consumption which was a personal goal. Just had week off for half term with kids and did nothing but eat and drink – nice hotel breakfasts didn’t help. Daren’t weigh in. Has anyone else had a week or two off and managed to get back into it? Need some motivation!

    motivation comes from within so it is up to you to get back into 5:2. Having said that, you lost 9lbs and achieved a mini goal so you know you can do it and you know it is worthwhile as it works.

    I lost three stones then went on a 2 month holiday and didn’t start again for several months by which time I had regained 18lbs. I am now a couple of lbs shy of a 5 stones loss. If I can do it anyone can.

    Thanks Amazon. You are right about motivation coming from within, but I do also find a lot of the stories on here to be very motivating. Knowing that you could take two months out and still go on to lose again does help 🙂 I decided to face a weigh-in tonight and it wasn’t great but I’m determined to start again tomorrow.
