If you are reading this and in your sixties, you, like me, are smart enough to know that you have tried many diets in the past and appreciate the science behind 5:2 fast diet. You are smart enough to know which foods are high calorie, empty calorie and good calorie, to know your food triggers, and to know how to sabotage yourself if you’re feeling down ‘n out. You may be living alone or with a spouse/partner, happily or sadly; your health may be top-notch or “betraying” you with this ‘n that ailment; and you may be retired or working, either because you have to or because you want to.
Those of us in our sixties have decades of memories of how things were and how things are today. And in that way, regardless of where we live, we can become a community that understands one another, perhaps more than someone much younger.
I am a newbie to 5:2, but not to dieting; I really know exactly what I have to DO. Anyone interested in joining a community of smart enough sixties who can help steer one another towards success?
