Today is my first day here at the Fast Diet. I’ve been reading/hearing about the benefits of fasting for a while and this seems to be a good place to start. I used to be quite active but have severe arthritis in my hip and can hardly do anything these days. So I have gained at least 20lbs in the last year. I would like to lose 30.
This week today (Tuesday) and Sunday are going to be my Fast days. Today I plan on having a blueberry/almond milk smoothie around 11 am. Then around 5:00 I will have a big salad of lots of lettuce and some imitation crab meat.
I’m used to having a glass of wine every day……will be interesting to see how I do without it. I’m sure it will be good for my body to not drink every day.
I’m interested to see how hungry I get during the day. It has been over 12 hours since I have eaten already.
