  • Lost 4.5 pounds on my first week!

Fasted on Monday and Thursday, ate heathily on normal days and went to the gym three days (non fasting days). When things got tough I promised myself I could eat whatever I wanted on Saturday, but weirdly I didnt really feel like splurging by the time Saturday came. Ate what I wanted but it didnt amount to much.

Went back to fasting today (Sunday) and found I almost prefer it to “eat what you like” Saturday!

Off work on Monday so planning fast days on Sunday and Wednesday this week when I am busy in work. Excited to keep going and never thought I’d say that about a diet!

Aiming to have lost two stone by July. Think I’ll probably hit my target long before that.

    Becki,

Sounds like a good plan. Try and get in some walks.

Becki, Congratulations on you success thus far. The first losses can be fast and exhilarating. Don’t forgot to adjust your TDEE as you loss continues and be prepared for the stalls. hopefully you’ll be one of the lucky ones and avoid this.

Way to go and keep on keeping on.

Starting today- really excited but also a little nervous. Have seen my friend lost a stone since October so to me she has done that so heartily, through following this. I’m just hoping I can do the same as I’m off on Hols in 19 weeks.

Would someone mind explaining what TDEE is? I have fitness pal ready and all set for my current weight for the days in not fasting, to record

    Sarah

    Thanks everyone!

Sarah, as far as I know, the TDEE is the number of calories you should have on a non fasting day. You can calculate that on this website, then everytime you lose weight, recalculate it.

    Good luck!
