So, I had a trial day last Monday just to see, intending to have 2 weeks in early December when back from holiday, then start properly and in earnest in mid-January when back from the next holiday.
Last Monday was a bit of a breeze to my surprise. Started reading the book yesterday on the kindle and fascinated to see some of the things I had experienced set out there (such as not really having that much of an appetite the following day).
Realised today that I was accidentally fasting, plain lime soda all day long, one orange, then a trip to the local vegan/rawfoods cafe for supper, changing my mind when we arrived and plonking for a tuna salad elsewhere with one small baked potato out of the tandoor.
So, a novice even manages it on holiday………
I will have another day next Monday then get into the proper swing of beginning 5:2 routine during my almost 3 weeks back in London.
