  • Hi this is my first post.I am been on the plan now for well over 2 months and although I lost 3 kg in the first 6 weeks I have not lost any weight past few weeks and this morning stood on the scales after a fast day and had put on over a kilo. This is the first increase in weight.I know I am overcompensating more and more on the nonfast days and going beserk with carbohydrates. I have always been a comfort eater and binge at times but Now I am feeling like I am out of control and its scary.I’m more focused on those days then the fast days. Has this happened to anyone else?

YES! I haven’t managed to loose any weight yet and I think it is because I eat too much on the non-fast days. Lack of results has also made it harder to keep the fast days going and I find there is always some reason not to do a fast-day today.
However, 6 months and 3 diets on and a total of 5 kilos heavier, I have decided to give it another go now, because at least I didn’t gain any weight doing this.
I have the problem though that eating no sweets is easier (on the short-term) than eating only 1, but I can’t deny myself treats on the long run (the other diets have once again proved that).

Any tips from anyone to prevent or at least control over-eating on non-fast days? Without trying to stick to a healthy diet for very long periods at a time?

I was loosing weight which is odd as I was still eating heaps on the other nonfast days and it was consistant but slow losses. I guess it has all caught up with me. I havent been walking much so that might be the first plan to get the exercise going daily again. next maybe find better filling snakes that arent billies and lollies!!
