  • hello, I’ve just started this diet last week and I’m glad I found this forum. I’m looking for a motivated group of people willing to commit to sticking to this diet no excuses and no negative talk, with a goal of 25 lbs minimum by Christmas 2015! Anyone?

    Do read the FAQ’s and just be aware that 1 lb a week is an average loss. Weight loss is not the only tool to measure a loss, but also trying on clothes and measuring vital statistics once a week.

    The forum works by and large because of those sharing both the ups and the downs along this journey. It is not a quick fix but a change of a way of life.

    Great idea. I too have just started and have 28lbs to lose, so if I can manage 25 by Christmas I’ll be highly delighted. I’m combining the Fast exercise with the 5:2 so fingers crossed. Good luck everyone.

    hi reccagarratt, that sound great to combine this life style with exercise; my son is a trainer and i’m also working with him and i know with his kind of training combined with my fast days, i will reach my goals.
    he also does online training for anyone interested. he is excellent, not just because he is my son, but he really is excellent!

    Hi. My fast days are mon/wed and Friday. I’m into my 4th week and I’ve lost 7lbs so far. So it’s going well so far….

    I need to lose 30lbs by January 15th..
    My fasting days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
    I’m going to exercise at home doing aerobics.

    I was originally fasting twice a week but I’m now also changing to 3 times! What do u eat on the fast days? Looking fwd to exchanging ideas and recipes for those fast days!

    Just started back to 5:2 after taking two months off and already I’m struggling to resist the doughnuts someone bought into work!

    I’ve just started this Monday, when I made an omelette eith two eggs and two medium tomatoes. I also had a cup of coffee with a lot of milk so I guess I should also count “one glass of milk”.
    Today I had a small piece of baked salmon and I ate that for lunch.. And I had two cups of coffee one in the morning and one now in the afternoon.. I won’t eat anything until tomorrow..
    I prefer to have protein on fasting days. It gives me a much fuller feeling.. 🙂

    Hi. I’m just on my wednesday fast day… This will be 11th successful fast day since I started on 6th July… Every fast day seems to be getting easier so here hoping a good Loss this week again x
