  • Hello All
I have had persistent verrucae for much of my life, 17 years ago, just after my oldest son was born, I developed multiple verrucae, covering most of the soles of my feet. None of the usual over-the-counter remedies, gels, home freezing kits, had any effect. I understood that mostly they go away on their own after 3 – 5 years, but after 10 years with no sign of them going anywhere, I went to the doctors and started a course of ‘freezing’. It took about 10 treatments before they did, eventually go away. A year later, I developed another verruca on each foot, and one of the pad of my thumb. Not as bad this time, but 6 years later and verrucae still there, this is when I started 5:2. I have now been doing 5:2 for about 5 months, and in the last few days I have noticed the one on my thumb has gradually faded away. Just checked my feet and one of those has also completely disappeared (the verruca, not my foot!) this gives me hope that the last one will soon follow.
Could 5:2 be responsible for this? I know it’s most likely complete coincidence, but i just wondered if anyone else has lost any long-lasting verrucae or warts since starting 5:2?

Fascinating! It could be just a coincidence, but maybe 5:2 has switched your body into self-healing mode. Let’s hope for you that the last one goes and they never return.
