  • I wonder if anyone else has found doing the 5:2 has actually saved them money.
    Have only been on it a couple a weeks and whilst I haven’t worked it out, I am sure I am not spending as much on food. Haven’t bought lunch at work this week at all because I brought my lunch from home and the two fast days just snacks of fruit, and the food I have bought is all pretty healthy. Maybe it is not just the health benefits that makes it worthwhile

    I don’t do the shopping, so don’t know about my household, but a number of other people have mentioned in their posts of money saved. Another topic recently started (on unintended consequences) also mentions this, and other benefits as well. 😀

    I really agree with you, all the chocolates and biscuits in general. Totally stopped. I love baking cakes but not now.
    The smaller portions of food. The food bill has gone down lots.
