New to 5/2

  • Hello fellow 5/2 dieters
    I have been encouraged to commence doing 5/2 by my sister who is being very successful so here I am having finished fast number two yesterday my choosen days are Mondays and Thursdays and this mornings scales are 2kg down as are all my measurements whoop whoop

    I am not a young person but of a certin age where all body parts defy gravity weight loss is a nightmare but if I can get ten kg off doing this would be my biggest achievement in a number of years. My exercise regime is Pilates three times a week and walking when weather and mood let’s me out.

    I live in Christchurch New Zealand with my husband we have two sons one in Auckland and one Perth Australia a new first granddaughter born in may so we are off in July to Perth to see them hence a big incentive to get the weight off

    I have read many of the forum posts so look forward to gaining lots of information support and help through these as I journey to a healthier me

    Welcome and I hope you achieve your goal….it’s easy after a couple of weeks and you settle into a routine. Just keep focused and it will be a downward trend. Expect 1 lb a week as a woman, anything more a bonus.

    Congratulations on your new granddaughter she will keep you busy.

    Thank you Symba7 for your welcome.i a enjoying exploring the site have ompleted day two of fasting successfully Ang am very surprised I am 2 kg down probably water weight so I’ll see what results after next two. I have read average loss is about 1/2 kg a week even that would be wonderful for me I struggle to get that after a month
