  • Hi everyone just started i have tried all diets you name it I’ve tried it 🙂 anyhow this is the end of my second fast day – tomorrow being mothers day and all that so I thought I might try 4:3 and see how I go – the thought is that if I aim for 4:3 and fail at least I’ve been able to do 5:2 – would love some toast at the minute so thought would do my first ever ever blog about anything Yeah! and so stay away from the kitchen even though I hear the toaster calling :). Anyhow all your blogs are great to read – I will keep you posted if I lose anything – Have great day Jo

    Hi, I’ve just started too, did my first fast day on Wednesday and doing my 2nd today, Sunday! Looking forward to eating properly tomorrow lol. Keep going, hopefully we will start to see the difference in a few weeks. 🙂

    Hi zoe, simcoeluv,angie, syeeda, dizzymac – thanks so much for all your posts – I re read the book and decided to fast from 10pm through to 6/7pm on my second day which gave at 20 hour fast I think I found this easier than the day I had lunch – what did you all do?

    Hi, 10 pm to 6/7pm seems like a long time in my book, I started my first fasting day on Friday I had only read half the book and I did not know that I should leave as long as possible between meals, I thought it was just eat 500 calories throughout the day, so I had pineapple 100 cals for breakfast 8 am, at 12 noon weight watchers soup 87 calories, at 4pm a slice of whole meal bread tomato sauce and lead beef 220 cals one apple 40 cals. I make I 450 cals I was going to have a WW yoghurt later but I got to the part of the book about leaving as much time as possible between meals so I did not eat the yoghurt hence the shortfall of 50 calories.
    Today is my second fasting day Sunday 9. 30am I have had a latte 67 cals a very small banana, 1 slice of WM bread scraping of jam 200 cals. Tonight which I am looking forward to, is cauliflower with low fat cheese sauce I am hoping to have it about 5 or 6 pm. Should be 250 I will double check it.

    Hi JIPWGP I only picked up that some people leave it as long as possible between meals but it seems to be whatever suits you. i think i will change to same as you – you sound more organised than me actually sounds better. I just also got a call re bloods that just happened to be done on a the fasting day blood sugar was 50 so have to go see nurse any how think maybe better to do it your way thanks for the reply and the tips – also wee note I had a subway salad the other day 257 cals – was really good.:)
