    Started the fast diet two weeks ago. I’m a Monday and Thursday faster, I am also doing regular dieting on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (anything from 1000 kcals a day to 1600 on non-fasting days). This is just to boost my weight loss for the first few weeks. During the weekend I eat normally. I started the diet at a weight of 12st 5.8lbs and after the first week I had lost 6.6lbs, so I am now 11st 13.2lbs. Starting to get used to fasting, although I do find it harder on the Monday after the weekend. Today, however I have hardly felt hungry at all. I would like to wish good luck to everyone on the 5:2. Keep up all the good work!

    Hello, thankyou for the update on your first couple of weeks, it was really encouraging to readd about your experience.
    I’ve about 3.5 stone to lose and will be starting ADF tomorrow (eaten too much today!) Hope I have similar results in the first couple of weeks. I’m going to give it a good go, wish me will power…..think i’m going to need it!
