FAT to FIT in FIFTY days

  • Has a certain ring to it, but at 6 months short of being the big FIVE OH, it’s time to shed the 14 kg ( that’s 14 bags of sugar strapped to my waistline and chest) that I’m carrying once and for all.

    Forget Atkins and other fads , I’m going to do this with a mega healthy diet, inc fasting to keep the brain and liver in tip top shape)

    All support great fully received and let’s all work together.

    I’m starting tomorrow and feeling optimistic !!

    As the Atkins way of eating is now recommended by pretty much all nutritionists and even the government, I would not call it a ‘fad’. The fad was the low fat diet, and it got a lot of people fat and sick. As you look around this site and start to get into what foods to eat, I think you will find people getting rid of sugar, flour and other processed carbs and starting to eat fat and protein instead. I suggest you follow the ‘Recent Posts’ in the ‘Forum’ (above) to get a broad view of the information on this site over time.

    Hope it goes well! I am on my first day – and also have a 50 day plan (well, 49 days – which is 7 weeks).
    Apart from the diet are you doing anything else? I will be following some of the Fast Exercise ideas.
