  • My husband is super frustrating on fast days: picky eater so won’t eat the fast day dinners, plus eats twice as much as I do… how do you balance the evening meal without loosing your Sh*t cause he’s eating a burger and fries and you are munching on a salad!
    Thank you in advance!

It does get easier! I have no advice I’m afraid, but I do know how you feel, there are very few meals that we can eat together, add in to that 2 fussy teenage boys who eat like horses, & are constantly raiding cupboards & needing food late at night (to be fair they do both work long hours, so I do cook for them when they get in!!)
Not sure what you like, but could you do chicken with salad for you & wedges or something for hubby, or do you both eat fish- that’s good for a FD? I find it easier to not eat during the day, so save my calories for a slightly bigger meal in the evening. Like a stir fry, or an omelette & salad. Maybe bacon & eggs for your OH with extras for him? Maybe a burger with the lettuce instead of a bun for you, normal for him?
There are lots of FD recipes online as well as the books- I’ve found plenty under 500cals on Pinterest, hopefully you can find something… keep strong!!
