    I’m preparing to begin the Fast Diet Monday. Is there anyone out there who before the program, was not much of a cook or didn’t know how to cook? I basically used the microwave most of my life. I picked up the recipe book by Mimi Spencer, in addition to The Fast Diet to help out with my choices on what to eat.

    I need some insight.

    There are quite a lot of FD food ideas here:

    If you don’t usually cook keep it simple. I’d suggest grilled meat\poultry\fish with salad veg, soups or egg based meals. These are all pretty straight forward and won’t require the purchase of a lot of cooking tools you don’t have.
    You may even find that there are some microwave meals that will keep you within your FD calorie limit if you look for them. Perhaps add a side salad (careful with the dressing) to bulk it out as the low cal meals tend to be small portions.
