I have been fasting for only 1 day/week (sorry Michael – I had to see if I could do it at all) for 8 weeks, and got my bloodwork results back today: blood sugar 102 (down from 117), cholesterol significantly reduced, 8lbs of weight lost, and blood pressure down from 138/75 to 112/75. My doctor was impressed to say the least. I expect to continue my improvements for my next lab work in 6 months. This process has been excellent overall, and I can see it as a part of my lifestyle going forward. Cheers from the U.S.A!
Terry, I had very similar results after only one month; fasting blood sugar dropped from 116 to 103, hbA1c dropped from 6.2% to 5.8%. Cholesterol numbers improved slightly as well (HDL up 1, LDL down 8). Looking forward to another blood test! – Gary
