Back to tried and trusted fasting!

  • Hello again everyone. So a couple of months back i reached my goal weight and lost a stone with IF – variating between, 5:2, 4:3 and ADF. Going from 9 1/2 stone to 8 1/2 and im 1.67cm
    However i then admitt i laxed off a bit (partly because i was reassured by friends and family i was looking a bit skinny) I didnt practice maintenance as i told myself i was happier at a higher weight and put back on 10lbs.
    However as i now have some summer holidays abroad aproaching at the end of july (hello bikini paranoia being away with several other girls and a wedding) I would like to re-lose the weight.
    The plan (as i am quite used to fasting now) is to do ADF, day on day off system until i reach my goal. Then drop to 5:2 to maintain, then if possible 6:1.
    I do love IF and i know it can work for me! And i will do better at the maintenance side this time!

    One thing that helped me tremendously was to make fundamental changes to my dietary habits. This is very important when it comes to maintenance. Four instance, I cut out pop and sugary drinks and now I am a water and tea total.

    I also try to avoid eating pasta, white rice or processed food. I got myself a very good pedometer and upped my exercise.

    I would not suggest to make too many drastic changes at the same time. Go slowly but steadily!
