  • Hi, I’m Kim I’m 58 and roughly 3 stone over weight! I’ve done all the usual diets going up and down over the years. I do not want to enter my 60’s overweight so here we go – day 1!

    Hi Kim. Good Luck. My first day on this as well, but I have seen a couple of friends do very well on this diet, so here’s hoping!!

    Currently 120Kg and aiming initially for 100Kg then see where I go from there

    I’m also 58 and am using 5:2 as way of maintaining my weight after losing 65 pounds a couple years ago (I’m a Yank, a stone is something we skip on the water or throw through a window!).

    Just wanted to wish you success with your fasting.

    Well done. That’s brilliant. In the first week I managed to lose 1.2kg (about 2.5lb). Fast days OK but also making me think about what I eat on the other 5 days

    Congratulations, I have just started a diet to lose weight. Also plans to start exercising to get in shape.

    Just wanted to wish you great success with your diet and exercise plan.

    Before I learned of 5:2, I lost about 65 pounds by counting calories with the aid of an Iphone app. It worked well for me, but it’s not for everyone. Are you doing 5:2?
