Been plateaued so decided to add the two 500c days to get moving on my weightloss. Feel good about this plan.

Adding 5-2 to my IF plan.

Regular IF is fasting most days for 16-24 hours, rather than just two days with lower calories. My body seems to adapt very easily, so doing 5:2 is a way for me to mix it up by dropping my calories on the two days. I usually have a small amount of calories for breakfast, liquid mostly like half a protein shake, then my main dinner meal. I did far too many starvation diets in my younger years, my body doesn’t like to let go of fat. I exercise moderately, 3-4 days a week of walking 2-4 miles those days, plus doing weight training. I’m curious if this will be a way to get over the hump.
