Hi. I’m about to start the 5:2 and wondered if anyone as incorporated fasting daily and eating within an 8 hour window.

Not sure what you mean by fasting daily.

Does ‘fasting’ mean daily calorie restriction or only 600 calories/day? both sound untenable for the long run. One thing about the 5:2 is that it helps you to establish a better way of eating that you can continue for the rest of your life. You can also eat within the 8-hour window [16:8], which can help as well.

Sorry missed your note. I’m into week 3 of the 5-2 and incorporating a 16 hour window between my last meal,of the day and my next day meal. Working fine for me and feeling fine. Can drink water and coffee but nothing with sugar.
