A bit daunted

  • Am staring today and my calorie allowance is just 300 due to age, height, gender etc.
    What can I eat?

    Welcome Dawnybee. Something that has next to no calories are all green vegetables. I try to eat a huge plate of those on my fast day and combine it with a soft boiled egg. You might want to consider to eat instead of 300 cal 500 cal and except the fact that your weight-loss will be slower?

    Thank you Stef, I surprised myself and managed the 300, slept like a log.
    I googled up 200 cal recipes so that I can enjoy my coffee with milk.
    Surprisingly you can make quite a few meals using 200 cals.
    Should I feel really hungry will up the cals.

    I don’t think you need to go down to 300. 500 is a little arbitrary of a number and how it was figured doesn’t fit your specs.

    That being said, you ought to try 500 calories each fasting day to see if you do indeed lose weight. It may work.
